Nike
I picked Nike for one of my brands because I own a quite a bit of Nike merchandise myself. I like the logo because it is simple and isn't restricted to a single color scheme. I think that Nike was a good logo to do because it is easy recognizable.
I chose to use Google because it is easily one of the worlds most recognizable brands. Google has many areas that it influences, and their logo can be seen almost anywhere. The last reason I picked to do Google was because I use Google everyday.
